Zwei Wochen haben wir im Hotel logiert. Der erste Eindruck bei unserer Ankunft am Checking war gemischt. Die Rezeption für so ein nobles Hotel ist eher kühl und klein. Sehr überrascht – und enttäuscht – waren wir, dass uns niemand auf Deutsch begrüssen konnte. Ohne Englisch ist man hier – wie auch im Gebiet der Hohen Tetra - ein wenig verloren. Dabei haben wir manche deutschsprechende Touristen getroffen. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, sauber, leider etwas zu klein für einen längeren Aufenthalt – fast keine Gepäckablage. Dafür das Badezimmer war schön, gross, sauber und ausgestattet mit den nötigen Pflegemitteln usw. Ein Dankeschön gehört dem Küchenpersonal und der Bedienung. Alle waren nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Leider haben wir im Restaurant Sissi nur zweimal gegessen. Das Essen war gut zubereitet aber wir haben Angebote der regionalen Gerichten (Haluschki, Knödel...) vermisst. Dafür haben wir die guten slowakischen Weine in der Lounge genossen. Am Abendessen wäre es doch schön wenn man den Tisch in Restaurant ein wenig festlicher machen würde z. B. mit einem Tischtuch oder Stoffserviette. Nicht empfehlen würde ich das Taxi Angebot des Hotels, ist viel teurer als die öffentlichen Taxis. Wir wünschen dem ganzen Personal eine erfolgreiche Herbstsaison. Anna und Peter

I am very pleased to hear, you found our room to have sufficient amenities and also the fact you liked our bathroom and its amenities which are of high quality indeed, however when it comes to your room, it is such unfortunate you have not enjoyed its size, which I am really sorry to hear. This is due to the building being historic and listed, therefore we are not able to influence the size of rooms in the listed part in any way also, I understand you have booked a historic attic room, which is smaller than standard historic, modern or our suites. I also would like to apologise that you have felt lost due to the language barrier. It is true, most of our highly trained and dedicated staff speaks English as English is an international language and the most spoken language in the world, having said that we also have some members of staff, which are able to speak German. Our team is very delighted, you and your partner enjoyed food at our Restaurant Sissi, our food is always made from fresh ingredients and also, I am pleased to hear you liked the service you and your partner have received, finally I would like to inform you, that we do have porter service available at the hotel, daily from between 8am up to 8 pm, should any guest want porter service outside of these hours our dedicated members of reception team will be more than happy to assist. Indulge in a treatment at the full-service spa or soothe your muscles in one of the 2 hot tubs after a day on the slopes. For a free ride to the slopes, hop on the hotel's complimentary ski shuttle. Conveniences such as ski storage and shopping on site allow you to spend less time with logistics and more time on the slopes. When the sun goes down, sip après-ski drinks in the hotel's bar. Along with a restaurant and a coffee shop/café, there's a snack bar/deli on site. Free breakfast is available daily. A computer station is on site and WiFi is free in public spaces. This ski hotel also offers an attached winery, an indoor pool and a complimentary children's club. Free self parking and valet parking are available. The property offers extended parking privileges.
