Hotel and rooms ok. Didn't particularly like the self check in process. On second day u found cleaning staff had removed one of our 2 large bath towels and not replaced it. Had to ask someone at front area for one to be put in room We also found that the TV remote batteries needed replacing. Asked for new batteries at same time as the towel (first thing in the morning). Returned to hotla late afternoon to find batteries not replaced. Had to ask again for them. Subsequently did. While having breakfast one day, found a chop on the floor beneath the table. If I could see it, then cleaning staff should have seen it. Apart from these minor niggles, we were happy with the hotel, which was also well located for our needs.

Very nice hotel

Pros: It has everything for a nice weekend break
Cons: Nothing at the moment
Location: The garden centre at the other side of the motorway is a good place to visit
We stay here about twice a year for a quick getaway, nice clean gym and pool, staff are very polite and good food at night and a good breakfast.

Nice hotel

I stayed at the cedar court as it was recomended by a friend when i arrived in my room the heater wasnt working was moved to another room. They got my food order mixed up but was still nice food

Very nice hotel

Pros: Clean. Friendly staff
Location: Next to M1 - easy access. Good location for visiting local sights, National Trust properties etc.
Initial impression: helpful friendly staff - reception, housekeeping, dining room, pool. Room very clean. Missing child's bed on arrival, sorted out in minutes! Nothing too much trouble.

Convenient location

Just off motorway but no traffic noise. Large comfortable and very clean rooms. Excellent facilities for a motorway hotel. Would think twice about food from room service as not of an acceptable standard and cooled by the time it was delivered.

Very average stay

The room I stayed in felt like it was 30 years old. Very worn down. It also felt quite dirty. Only stay here if you really have to.
