Very welcoming owner who accommodated myself and my daughter at very short notice due to the closure of the Youth Hostel in Whitby. Perfectly located for any walkers tackling the Cleveland Way. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a very long time - set us up nicely for the hike up to Staithes. Highly recommended!

Second stay in this B&B. Friendly host, lovely room, perfect location. Tamsin remembered I was vegetarian and she made me a superb cooked breakfast. The room (family one) is great, the beds are comfortable, duvets warm, the bathroom is big and the shower spotless and powerful. Will come back again for sure.

Great location, lovely place, fantastic view from our room at the top at the back. Tamsin was so helpful & informative. Only problem is finding a parking space, not too bad in October, but I imagine summer would be very difficult.

The B&B is in a great location within minutes of the beach and pavilion and with Whitby being quite small it's a very walkable town. The room was clean with a good shower and comfortable bed - the floral decor wasn't to our taste but that's a minor point. The breakfast was delicious with ample portions and we weren't disturbed by noise or other guests during our stay. There wasn't any WiFi but there was a TV. We were in Whitby for Whitby Goth Weekend and Goths are very welcome without prejudice and we were given a key to let ourselves into the property without any problems even late at night.
