Very friendly welcome. Great bathroom. Good vegetarian breakfast. Good parking. Pretty central.

Good location

We were allowed to check in early as we had travelled up the night before and stayed in another accommodation in Windermere as there was heavy snow ! We were allocated an annex room which actually my daughter and husband had stayed in before ! It was clean and well equipped . Possibly some coat hooks in the entrance area for hanging wet coats would be good and the heating did go off during the day when it was a bit chilly . The water in the shower was turned to maximum but not over warm ! The breakfast was excellent . We would stay here again .

A lovely stay!

The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with very tasteful decor. It also felt very private, with our own en-suite. Having our own external door and porchway made it feel like a flat of our own. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked and with a good selection of fruit, cereals, juices and full English available. The hotel was also set back off the road so it was peaceful, but only a 2 minute walk until you are on the main high street running through Bowness-on-Windermere.. 10 minute walk to the lake! We had a wonderful stay and couldn't find anything to improve on. We would definitely recommend!
