Excellent service and convenience

Pros: Clean, warm, comfortable bed, good hot shower, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: The hotel is in need of renovation
Location: Service station on the M5, just a stopover so didn't look around at all.
The hotel is rather tired and need of renovation but the welcome and service were excellent and the room was clean and comfortable so we would have no hesitation staying again. We used the hotel as a stopover on our way home after a long flight into Birmingham airport and it worked perfectly. Despite being at a busy service station right on the M5 it was quiet and peaceful and the staff could not have been more helpful. Just what we needed.

Dreadful bathroom

Lovely welcome from man at reception - very helpful indeed. Hotel in need of refurbishment. Bathroom had a spongy floor, black grouting round the times and bath panel in a bad way. Don't go to the Service station for a meal - even the Fast Food was slow. We didn't feel comfortable there at all.

How convenient is This

Could'nt be more convenient if it tried. The staff were fantastic, even when we booked a return visit for the following week the manager Chris was just Brilliant Thank you so very much for looking after us

Good value

Friendly welcome. Room more than adequate. Welcome tea tray. Ensuite clean and adequate. Great value if you just need somewhere to crash for the night. Good deal!
