I booked this hotel as from the online images it looked like the best one in the area. The room size (we had a tripe room) was great as it was spacious however it didn’t look entirely clean but we managed to live with that. The bath tube looked old and one of the dispensers on the wall didn’t work. Unfortunately, the hotel were completely out of toothpaste too which is such a basic necessity for hotels. The check in was smooth and friendly however our card wasn’t pre authorised so we had to sort that later in the evening after drinks as the bar staff couldn’t put anything to our room. The staff in general were lovely and friendly although we had an exceptionally long wait to order drinks with only one person infront of us. Lots of staff roaming about avoiding eye contact and doing other bits. It was a shame that a lot of the gym equipment (running machine and cross trainer) were out of order. The breakfast was (sorry) awful and it actually really smelled in the room and it desperately needed ventilation, I forced a has brown down me but past on everything else as did my friends. Shame, as we paid for it. The pros however were that the spa was open until late which isn’t very common i hotels so that was good to know.
