We received a very warm welcome at Minster Hotel - all staff we interacted were warm and courteous. It is very well placed for access to the tourism centre of York, and very good value for its location

Really good location at a good price, just 5 min walk from Bootham gate and 7 mins from the Minster. We had a family room at the back of the hotel which even with the window open all night was quiet. Good sized bathroom with clean walk in shower. Friendly staff nice breakfast though my friend thought the cups should have been bigger for coffee with breakfast!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Was able to walk into York easily . Bed was comfy and the room was large. Staff could not have been more helpful.
