Forget public transport - get a taxi!

Always allow more than enough time for your journey though. The most efficient way to travel to and from either of the airports in San Paolo is by taxi. Reasonably priced, they offer a safe way of getting about. International travellers arrive at the Guarulhos Airport . From here the Airport Bus Service (costing the equivalent of £12) connects the airport with the city. But despite San Paulo being only 16 miles away, the bus journey might take one or two hours, depending on traffic. Domestic Congonhas Airport is even closer - just seven miles from the city, it is also best reached by taxi.

"check in was ok...in the unit a new toilet had apparently been installed. The toilet must have been larger than the previous one, the bathroom door bumped against it. The shower wasn't well cleaned. There was no soap for the dishwasher. Silverware was sparse....."

"The property was clean and staff were excellent. Would get rid of the carpet and update shower (remove old slip mat in tub) and update shower curtain which looked old and worn. I would also revive old lamp shade which was tattered. Otherwise, it was a good stay for the one night."
