Brazil's biggest city, San Paulo is probably not the most visually pleasing at first sight, but give it time and you will soon discover a city heaving with art house cinemas, galleries, music venues and some outstanding eateries. Two San Paulo airports serve Brazil's domestic and international flight routes: Guarulhos and Congonhas.

Forget public transport - get a taxi!

Airports in San Paulo Brazil --SP might appear chaotic at first, but bear with us and you'll soon know enough to easily get to your destination. Always allow more than enough time for your journey though. The most efficient way to travel to and from either of the airports in San Paolo is by taxi. Reasonably priced, they offer a safe way of getting about. International travellers arrive at the Guarulhos Airport . From here the Airport Bus Service (costing the equivalent of £12) connects the airport with the city. But despite San Paulo being only 16 miles away, the bus journey might take one or two hours, depending on traffic. Domestic Congonhas Airport is even closer - just seven miles from the city, it is also best reached by taxi.

Great for exploring
"The hotel is perfect for exploring. The bar & restaurant are at a very high level. The room didn’t have aircon that we could control in the room, it did get really hot in the evening. Also it was a shame there was no gym but only a minor detail."
