Two San Paulo airports serve Brazil's domestic and international flight routes: Guarulhos and Congonhas.

Forget public transport - get a taxi!

Airports in San Paulo Brazil --SP might appear chaotic at first, but bear with us and you'll soon know enough to easily get to your destination. Always allow more than enough time for your journey though. The most efficient way to travel to and from either of the airports in San Paolo is by taxi. Reasonably priced, they offer a safe way of getting about. International travellers arrive at the Guarulhos Airport . From here the Airport Bus Service (costing the equivalent of £12) connects the airport with the city. But despite San Paulo being only 16 miles away, the bus journey might take one or two hours, depending on traffic. Domestic Congonhas Airport is even closer - just seven miles from the city, it is also best reached by taxi.

"just to say that one of the receptionist called mariam was excellent and extremely helpful. only downside is no near by public transport. need to walk about 10 min in cold and rainy days to get to public transport. 20 mins to walk to the centre of city."
