Getting to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport
Suvarnabhumi Airport can be reached by road from the city centre in Bangkok, as well as from the surrounding region. For road transport, the recommended links to the airport include the public bus service, as well as taxi and shuttle services. Given the recent construction of the airport, it is likely that further transport links to the airport will be developed in the coming years.
A number of bus services take passengers to the bus terminal at the public transportation centre at the airport, including bus routes from the Southern bus terminal in Bangkok and from the On-Nut Skytrain station. Shuttle buses from local hotels, privately hired taxis, and a more expensive limousine service, all have drop-off points on the departures floor at the airport. Drivers can also find long-term parking near the public bus terminal.

Amsterdam Airport is connected to Amsterdam via rail and road. Trains offer a reliable form of transport and direct trains run to and from Amsterdam every 10 to 15 minutes between 6:00am and 12:30am. The journey takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Buses are an economical form of transport and stop at many hotels as well as central Amsterdam. The journey to central Amsterdam takes around 30 minutes. At the weekends the bus service is less frequent. Taxis are available at the airport. Although convenient, especially if travelling with a lot of luggage this is the most expensive option and at peak times traffic can be heavy.
