Flying out of Perth
Use ebookers to find great deals on flights from Perth. Perth Airport is the major airport serving the Perth area, seeing over twelve million passengers each year and being one of the busiest airports in the world. It hosts many domestic airlines, such as Jetstar, Qantas, and Skywest, and international carriers, such as United, US Airways, British Airways, and Air Canada. The international and domestic terminals are almost six miles apart, meaning the domestic terminals are about seven miles from Perth’s city centre, while the international terminal is almost eleven miles from the city.
Where to Park
As the domestic terminals and the international terminal are so far apart, you will need to be sure you park in the correct lot to avoid a long walk or shuttle. Both the domestic terminals and the international terminal have long-term parking available at $55 for three days and $10 for each subsequent day. Over 3,500 parking spots are available in total, and a free shuttle is available to take to and between the terminals. You can also opt for the covered parking, which costs $120 for three days and $30 for each additional day.
How to Get There
Bus 37 runs from Kings Park, which is west of Perth’s city centre, directly to the domestic terminals in around fifty-five minutes and costs $4 per ride. Though the bus does not run to the international terminal, a shuttle takes passengers between terminals. A taxi from Perth to the airport will cost you less than $40 plus a $2 fee. In addition, you can always use ebookers reserve a rental car to take you to the airport.
Where to Eat
If you are flying out of the international terminal, one of the best places to get a cup of coffee and a snack is Aromas. It carries an assortment of teas, coffee drinks, and baked goods. For a bigger meal, BLD offers delicious sandwiches and salads to curb your hunger. At the domestic terminals, be sure to check out Dome for your morning caffeine boost. It is beautifully designed and serves hand-roasted premium coffee. For lunch or dinner, grab a sandwich or wrap from Fresh Connections, which uses only the freshest ingredients, so you can fill up with a healthy meal before leaving Perth.
