Amsterdam Airport is connected to Amsterdam via rail and road. Trains offer a reliable form of transport and direct trains run to and from Amsterdam every 10 to 15 minutes between 6:00am and 12:30am. The journey takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Buses are an economical form of transport and stop at many hotels as well as central Amsterdam. The journey to central Amsterdam takes around 30 minutes. At the weekends the bus service is less frequent. Taxis are available at the airport. "Walkable distance from the port but not very assessable by road as it is in the old town section. The property has no lifts so climbing up and down with bags can be an issue. The market place is walking distance but you could be harassed by the locals who want you to pay them to give you directions. ..."
