Feria de Malaga, Spain
This festival dates back to the 1400’s and celebrates the re-conquest of Spain, running during the third week of August. It starts with an official announcement, the ‘Pregón de la Feria’, made by a celebrity at town hall. Following that is a massive display of fireworks and ten days of wild partying. Open air bars are packed and there is dancing in the streets and people everywhere enjoying sherry. The annual bullfighting festival is held at the Plaza de Toros. Food and tapas are available at casetas or restaurants throughout town.
Leipzig Water Festival, Germany

Odense International Film Festival, Denmark
The Odense International Film Festival, is an international short film festival that offers a wide variety of films. It runs from 29th August to 4th September.
