Start with a drive through the sub-sea tunnel between Tórshavn and Runavík, ensuring to take the correct exit from the roundabout. First stop: Æðuvík village, famous for its seaside proximity and year-round sunrise views. Visit nearby windmills for panoramic views of the Faroe Islands. In Toftir, explore Navia's large shop for local yarn and jumpers. Visit Gøta, comprising Syðrugøta (known for the G! festival on the beach), Gøtugjógv (with a magnificent church featuring Tróndur Patursson's glass windows), and Norðagøta (preserving the old town and a statue of saga figure Tróndur í Gøtu). Travel through Sundalagið to Hvalvík, then to the stunning Saksunardalur valley leading to Saksun. Explore the picturesque village, the church from Tjørnuvík, and the historic farmhouse Dúvugarðar. Photo stop at Fossá waterfall (10 min). At Eiði viewpoint, enjoy a 15-min break with bathroom facilities. Brief 5-min stop at Risin and Kellingin sea stacks.
