What you can expect

Charming, delightful, and unspoiled by mass tourism, Tinos boasts an abundance of pleasant villages, enchanting churches, and lush landscapes with fruit plantations. Delve deep into the culture and tranquil way of life in Tinos on this full-day guided tour.

Embark on a boat and set sail through the sapphire Aegean Sea towards Tinos. Upon arrival, hop aboard a coach and begin your day of exploration. At the town of Tinos, visit the majestic Church of Panagia Evangelistria—Our Lady of Tinos—one of Greece's most famous. Admire its elegant design and hear about its acclaim—as the source of many miracles.

Back on the coach, your journey takes you through scenic roads and traditional townships, up to the hills of Kechrovouni. Stop at the 10th-century monastery where nun Pelagia saw a vision that led her to find the Virgin Mary. Explore the complex and enjoy panoramic views overlooking the villages below.

Continue to the rugged mountain of Exobourgo to visit a catholic village—Volax. Set in the middle of hills, surrounded by giant rock formations, it's one of the most distinctive settlements on the island. Admire its unique architecture and meet local basket makers.

En route to your final stop at the village of Tarambados—the valley of the pigeon houses—drive through agrarian areas, passing by lemon groves with breathtaking views of the sea. Upon arrival, take a stroll through the village to see a delightful series of dovecotes—some of the oldest and most ornate on the island.
