Not too many people know that you can mull white wine just as easily as red, and that this lighter-tasting drink is a staple of any self-respecting German Christmas market.
2 bottles white wine, 500ml cider, 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 tbsp. caster sugar, lemon zest
Pour your wine into a pan along with the cider and your mulling ingredients. Let it simmer on a very low heat until it's smelling spicy and irrisistable, that's when it's time to serve!
