Great birthday experience

Pros: The location, the flexibility of the setup and catering arrangements, the huge bed and the personable hosts!
Cons: Wifi in the main lounge area was great but couldn't connect in the room
Location: Come here for a chillout and relaxed ambience with the bonus of convivial conversation
Beautiful weather throughout our stay, very relaxing, convivial hosts. We self catered on first night, as did another couple from Melbourne, without too much of a challenge in the huge shared kitchen! Second day Rob recommended a bush walk to another part of the lake which gave us some good exercise. This day was also my birthday and we had booked dinner which was served on the deck in beautiful sunshine - marvellous food with special touches for my birthday that I had not expected, including an extra dessert or "birthday cake" (!) in the shape of a sticky date pudding with candle and sparkler! Made to feel very welcome and looked after.
