Carpet wasn't very clean, it was look like nobody hovering it, there were a lot of hair. Toilet didn't have a smell of clean. Beds were clean, overall it's not too bad for the price we payed

Upsides: Very, convenient for the ferry, very pleasant staff. Bed comfortable with good fresh bed linen. Car park is gated, which is a bit more secure if you have a car full of stuff. Wi-Fi has much improved since my last visit. Shower was nice and hot and very powerful. Very good breakfast selection. Downsides: It was clean, but overall the decor is somewhat tired and dated, room a wee bit cramped. However, at the price and for the convenience of location, these are minor gripes....

Ideal for a night stop over. Loved the bar area with pool table and seating, very cosy and nicely set out. Receptionist was very accommodating and professional. Rooms were dated, though clean enough, linen was clean, bed was comfortable, it was quiet and good shutters on windows. Location handy for our stop over for ferry, not pretty scenery though.

In need of improvement.

Very dated and in need of renovation (bathrooms awful). Not up to the same standards as other Kyriads we have stayed at. The staff, however were very friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was ok.

The hotel was close to the beach and neighbouring

The experience at the hotel was superb. The staff very friendly. For the price we had 2 separate bedrooms, a toilet bathroom and also a separate kitchen with a large fridge and microwave. A very quiet and a safe hotel. Would recommend this hotel to all my family & friends a

Stop off

This is a basic hotel that met our needs could do with some attention to the mould in the bathroom other than that it was good

.Don't stay here - sleep in the car instead

Pros: The diminishing image of the hotel in the rear view mirror when we left in the morning.
Cons: Just about everything
Location: No much happening after 10 pm when we arrived and started to look for a place to eat, to no avail. It seemed as if the town had gone into lock down.
The hotel room was filthy, complete with sticky carpet and stinking of tobacco. The bed was ultra soft, with springs sticking in your back ensuring a terrible night's sleep. When we arrived there was a dead rotting stinking cat on the car park, just next to our car (it was dark when we arrived and we didn't initially notice it). We asked for the poor cat's corpse to be removed although it was still there in the morning when we left... Customer service - nuls points!
