City Break

Hotel badly in need of renovation. Decoration required throughout; bathroom - shower tiles cracked with ingrained dirt in cracks, some fittings missing; do not attempt to use the shower if you are larger than average. Carpeted areas; carpets filthy and need replacing. Impossible to make hot drinks when required - rooms need a kettle and cups. Breakfast appalling - most people try once and then go to Robiglio's downstairs. Sheets, towels were clean and changed regularly. Location excellent for a short (1-2 day) stay. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Maybe not for us

They overbooked and had to transfer us to one of the 'apartments' they have nearby. But there was no apology for that from the start. When we got to the 'apartment' (it's only a room with a shower and a toilet), we felt it was not right so we went back to the hotel to complain but their attitude was like they were doing a great favour for us by giving that room to us. It could have been different if they had been more professional about the whole thing. We stayed in the room after all and I must admit it was nice to experience something very different from a modern building but it was an old dusty place and my asthma got worse. We had to walk back to the hotel for breakfast but it was so awful we had breakfast in a cafe from the next day.

Vanha ja nuhruinen

Hotelliin ei ole ostettu yhtään uutta huonekalua 50 vuoteen, eikä siniä pesty vuosikymmeneen. Kaikki on kulunutta ja nuhruista, vaikka ei suoranaisesti likaista. Lisäksi hotellin aamupala on huono: vetistä mehua ja laihaa kuumaa juomaa automaateista ja pari pientä leivänkänttyä. Henkilökuntaa ei näytä oikein kiinnostavan palvelu tai mikään muukaan. Ainoa hyvä puoli loistava sijainti aivan keskustassa.

Persoonallinen ja kiva

Huoneoli tilava ,riittävän romanttinen ja kodikas, oli sohva ja tuoleja. Komeat hirret katossa ja seinillä toivat tunnelmaa. Siistiä . Ikkunoiden puuttuminen hieman harmitti, mutta olihan kivat avattavat kattoikkunat. jääkaappikin oli, mutta ei toiminut, se oli pieni pettymys kun kuohuviini on lempijuomamme. Sitä saimme kuitenkin mini marketista kylmänä picnikille ja kaikki oli oikein mukavaa.

Très bruyant

Chambre au confort minimaliste (une seule chaise pour deux !). Exiguïté de la salle de bains. Rien à redire de la propreté des locaux, de la qualité de la literie, du petit déjeuner copieux et de la disponibilité du personnel de l'accueil. WIFI accessible seulement au 1° étage (salle à manger, salon) La proximité d'un café au rez-de-chaussée ne vous permettra pas de fermer l’œil avant 23h30 car la terrasse de tables et chaises métalliques est démontée chaque soir. Idem le matin à 6h00...

Lautes Stadthotel

Das Hotel liegt günstig in der Innenstadt. Die bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auf kurzem Wege fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Leider ist das Hotel dem direkten Lärm der Straße ausgesetzt. Die Fenster geben keinen Schutz gegen Lärm. Bereits ab dem frühen Morgen um 5.30 Uhr ist es mit der Nachruhe vorbei. Dann werden die in die Erde eingelassenen Abfallcontainer mit unerträglichem Lärm geleert und die in der Straße anliegenden Einrichtungen beliefert. Die Kehrmaschine fährt nicht nur einmal durch die enge hohe Gasse. Direkt vor dem Hotel befinden sich die Außenterrassen der Restaurants und Cafes. Der Lärm der Gäste dringt in die darüber liegenden Räume. Jeden Abend werden die Tische und Stühle auf dem Holzpodest zusammengerückt und am ganz frühen Morgen wieder neu aufgestellt. Das Prozedere verursacht wieder quälenden Lärm. Alles in allen kann man hier eigentlich nur eine Nacht nächtigen. Der Ausdruck schlafen wäre geschmeichelt. Wir hatten leider für 3 Nächte gebucht... Übrigens, vom Zimmer-Nr. 101 im 1. Stock direkt neben dem Frühstücksraum können wir nur abraten. Hier hat man den Eindruck direkt auf der Straße zu liegen. Die historischen Fenster mit Metallrahmen lassen jedes Geräusch von außen herein. Im Frühjahr auch die Kälte! Dieses Zimmer wurde sicher vorher als Besenkammer genutzt. Wir haben es hier 2 Nächte aushalten müssen, bevor wir nach Reklamation in ein darüber liegendes Zimmer wechseln konnten, welches aber auch nur geringfügig resistender gegen Lärm war. Wen das alles nicht stört, der findet mit diesem Hotel einen wirklich guten Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigungen der Innenstadt von Florenz.

bon emplacement

Hôtel bruyant à l'accueil peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Cependant la situation géographique est idéale tout est à disposition. Malheureusement l'impression de départ semble se confirmer au fur et à mesure du séjour : des économies sur tout : - Rideau de douche manquant à l'appel (Il a fallu le réclamer) - Petit déjeuner imposé sans modification possible (Il ne faut pas manger salé) Concernant le personnel celui semble fâché avec la langue de Molière (contrairement à la description du site de l'hôtel) et ne se montre pas patient si vous n'aimez l'Italien et que votre Anglais est limité. Un point positif quand à la terrasse panoramique et sa vue sur le Dôme .

Tiedossa etukäteen oli että voi olla meluisaa johtuen keskeisestä sijainnista ja lähietäisyydellä olevista monista ravintoloista, mutta ei haittaa hyväunista.
