"I chose this hotel for an overnight stop on our way home from a holiday in Italy. I liked the peace and quiet of the rural setting. I also liked the old-fashioned feel of the hotel (it still used lock & key to open the room door)
The rooms were clean, the bathroom spacious and my husband & I preferred that the toilet was separate. It was convenient that the restaurant could provide an evening meal, as well as breakfast, as we were tired from a long day on the road. The food and wine were delicious and reasonably priced
I did need my rusty French, as none of the staff spoke much/any English, but we managed to communicate and they were all helpful "
