Good location

Excellent budget motel in interesting town.

Just stopped one night here and wished we had been able to stay for longer. The motel itself was a shining example of how a budget hotel should be. From the pleasant and helpful greeting when we arrived through to our leaving we were impressed with the care that was being put into managing the motel. the rooms, while small were spotless and well thought through with everything we needed and easy to find/operate. We were given comprehensive and helpful information on what to do in Hokitika where we enjoyed an excellent meal and an unexpected visit to the local glow worm dell (free admission) that evening which we hadn't heard of before we arrived. The motel was also well situated with the town centre being just a short walk away and a filling station being available just across the road. Excellent!
