Nice hotel, wave pool isn't that great

Even though right next to airport, there wasn't much noise. It's at one end of strip, but is one of the finer properties of MGM. Very convenient valet parking, loads of shops and restaurants.

Sunsational!

Fantastic hotel. Went here on a 2 day break from Phoenix. Could not have wished for a better place. Rooms spacious and so comfortable.Had fantastic view over the Strip from 34rd floor. Plenty to do here.Lovely beach with waterpark on site. Great shops and restaurants (all prices). Easy to get to by public transport so save yourself $20 taxi trip. Get the 109 bus and transfer on to the SDX strip express at South Transfer station a few mins away from the airport! Rooms about to be renovated - I asked the concierge why as the place was immaculate and seems they do this every 10 years - but you wouldnt know it was old furnishings. Thoroughly recommend it!

4 nights in Vegas

Very much enjoyed the Mandalay Bay. The room was great, big with really comfortable beds. The hotel has everything you need, so you don't really ever need to leave it. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Fantastic pool area with multiple pools and a beach! Food at the beach bar was expensive and not great quality, but otherwise we ate well. Ri Ra the Irish pub upstairs has great live music every night and a decent bar menu at reasonable prices.

Super hotel! - and oldie but goodie

Had a super time and this hotel. Was a lovely place to stay. The Michael Jackson One show was outstanding! My only negative wound be the Foundation Room lounge on the very top. We were told that was a great place to watch the sunset. The elevator to go up is all roped off and manned by staff checking you over etc BUT when you get there you realise the sun sets the other side so can't see it AND the place is REALLY tatty and poor. Slashed and cigarette burned seats, poor decor inside & out. Was really disappointed with this area but the rest of the experience at this hotel was fabulous!

Fab break with my husband.

Gorgeous hotel. Pool was closed due to time of year. Weather was still fab for us. Location perfect. Long walk to strip but trains/buses close by.

very good hotel

The best hotel we have ever seen. There was so much to do and so much to see, the staff always had smiles on there faces, any questions put to the staff they answered right away. This hotel made our family holiday! We will be back. Well done Las Vegas.

Great Christmas break

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are wonderful. Particularly the room service telephone order staff. We found the room very comfortable and had a great view of the 'strip' on the 24th floor. The buffet restaurant did not live up to my expectations it seemed dated and tired and did not offer value for money . I had Christmas dinner there with my family and found it quite average. I found other buffets in surrounding restaurants much nicer offering more choice and modern ambience and clean surroundings. I wouldn't wish to eat there again unless there were improvements. Mandalay Place was great and offered setting for everyone.

Fantastic experience

Stayed here for six nights in September - cannot fault it in anyway. Check in was quick and v. Professional and friendly, queues were managed well. Fantastic range of pubs, bars and restaurants! Bedroom was super comfy and spacious (wanted to keep the bed). Very easy access to the pool and casino (compared to other LV hotels).

hotel on the strip thats hard to beat

This hotel has everything. Super clean hotel with great rooms excellent pool area a large open and well air conditioned casino. The service in this hotel is second to none it has great places to eat and shop. It is easy to get from hotel to hotel using the free tram service. In my opinion this hotel is one of the best on the strip and we have been to all of them. Well done to the team at Mandalay bay see you again soon
