"Maybe I missed it but if I had known that the ferry stopped running at 5:30, we would have gotten an earlier flight, that mistake cost me $200 USD, it seems that I only became aware of that after I made the reservation, I could be wrong, their prices for tours are all in line with what locals charge, the 3,000 php increase or $60 USD for gas is way high due to price of fuel increase, they don't even use half a tank, the hotel staff is great all the way around and accommodating, the setting is beautiful and the breakfast is very appealing, for some strange reason you won't get creamer for your coffee but kitchen staff will give you milk, highly recommend the trip to Kalanggaman Island"

"We had a very bad experience being left at the port on the way to Malapascua and I'm hoping Ocean Vida and Hotels.com does the right thing. We took our flight from Manila to Cebu and took the 4 hour van ride (coordinated with the hotel) only to be left stranded at the port due to weather conditions. We spent the night at a room by the port, paid extra fees for this, and waited the next day as per the hotel and boat captain's instructions. As of 11am the next day the boat left us behind at the port. "
