We have spent the most wonderful and perfect holiday at the Kempinski in Muscat. Upon our arrival to the hotel we have received a truly warm and charming welcome from Amal from Reception. Amal told us that we will receive an upgrade to a Deluxe room with front view to the Sea. What a welcome. The hotel entrance is beautifully set up and very, very impressive with the perfect view over the Gulf of Oman. We were given a tasty welcome drink and Amal was explaining all we needed to know very knowledgeable and competent. When we entered our room, we were completely blown-away by the size of the room, the beautiful design of the whole room, entrance, living, sleeping and the huge size of bathroom, with separate shower, toilet and bathtub. The room contained of a nespresso coffee machine with three different capsules, bottles of water, minibar, nice big TV screen and above all a view which cannot be beaten, right at the sea side. Spectacular! Wonderful breath-taking view! The room also contained of a vast balcony with chairs and a table. We also spent time at the huge pool which was 37.5 m long where one can swim nicely and easily. When swimming you had this great view over the pool which continued with the view over the vast Gulf of Oman. A beautiful pool. When entering the pool area, the “Pool Boys” Abbas or Hermanta were coming along and leading you to your desired place. They would cover the beds with fresh towels and would serve you water bottles in a cooling box, full of ice

The hotel feels brand new. In the room, the beds must have been amongst the most comfortable we ever experienced. We used the pools, a kids club, bowling alley, and well equipped gym. Food is very good in the hotel, but you can walk 10 min to the marina to find a large choice of coffee shops and restaurants. what makes the difference is the service and friendliness of the staff - whatever you ask, you get a smile and the help you looked for. Bravo.
