Could be better

This is a basic 2 star hotel, so not going to rant about it. I booked two rooms, one i.e. 905 had a good view of the queensbridge. The breakfast is basic croissants some days, brown and white bread, fruit juice, tea or coffee that's about it. The location is sketchy but fine. On the first day, on getting to the room i was greeted by the sight of a blood stained blanket, though this was changed as soon as i informed the reception. Its a basic 2 star hotel 20mins to Manhattan on the F train. The trains are less frequent after midnight about 2 to 3 trains max per hour.

Affordable, great views

Affordable and close to Manhattan, this hotel would be suitable for travellers on a limited budget who still wish to stay close to the main NY sights. Only two stops away from Manhattan on the F train, it was easy for us to get around and explore NY using our hotel as a base. The hotel provides a free, limited breakfast, but there are only 6 breakfast tables and it was total chaos every morning. The neighbourhood is also quite dodgy and we received a lot of aggressive, unwanted attention, even in the middle of the day (we were two female travellers). All in all it's a good deal, but not for the faint of heart.

Pleasent Staff, clean room, quiet

Nice hotel, pleasent stay. Staff were all very helpful. Room was spotless. Communal areas could do with a very good clean, especially the carpet on the sixth floor. Location doggy, one our first night walking to the hotel from the subway (5 minutes) a car pulled up alongside us and drove very slow. On our first morning a police officer in the subway warned us it was not a safe area. Having said that bar the first night we had no problems. Don't think that by staying here you will save money on food, there is only one decent place within close walking distance and its no cheaper than eating in Manhatten. Boardband worked well during our stay. Room

Chambres très correctes, personnel adorable. Un hôtel que je recommande, qui plus est situé dans le Queens, donc parfait pour être au plus près des new-yorkais.

Vacances extra

Arrivée à l'hôtel le dimanche 19/01/14 à l'hôtel Sleep In, le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympa et très à l'écoute pour n'importe quelle question. La chambre est propre les lits sont très confortables le plus c'est d'avoir un frigo dans sa chambre pour mettre les boissons ou autre au frais. Le must du must c'est le petit déjeuner inclus pas mal de choix pour ceux ou celles qui aiment le sucré ou le salé pour avor le ventre bien rempli pour tenir au moins une bonne partie de la journée. La station de métro est à 5 minutes à pied de l'hôtel et Manhattan est à 2 ou 3 stations il y a des fast foods à la sortie du métro et des épiceries à coté de l'hôtel.

Schönes Hotel mit guter Anbindung

Wir waren für 5 Tage in New York. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und werden täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück entspricht Amerika und ist OK. Es gab keinen Straßenlärm und man hat die U-Bahn Station direkt in der Nähe, damit direkte Verbindung nach Manhattan. Die Gegend ist nicht die Schönste, aber wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Vom Hoteldach ein Wunderbarer Blick auf Manhattan. Jederzeit wieder.
