4 Day TripExcellent location for restaurants, bars and the beach. A short walk to the old town and 10 minutes from the train station. The room was fine, although the bed was uncomfortable. Fantastic locationThe location was perfect, across the road from the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to both Old town and the City. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Nice long weekendThis place is in position 'A' for sea-front, shops, old town, tram, etc. Lovely stay, view to the sea. Only down-side was that the bar and restaurant was not open one night, which was a bit odd. It might be their off-season, but for us it was not! Room nice, but needed a couple of paintings to make ...

With its close proximity to Monte Carlo and numerous outdoor activities, Nice attracts thousands of visitors every year. If you need to find the top Nice hotels, ebookers can help you find one near the activities you want to enjoy.

Year-Round Outdoor Fun

Some travellers think that Nice sounds like a city best suited for culture lovers, but it has a number of outdoor activities that appeal to outdoor lovers. If you visit during the warmer months, you might want a hotel near St. Laurent du Var. On any given day, you can see hundreds of people heading onto the water for windsurfing. Several shops along the beach rent windsurfing equipment, canoes, kayaks, and other types of boats, and you can arrange for a private lesson if you need help. During the colder months, tourists and locals alike visit the Isola 2000 Ski Resort. Located in the French Alps, the area boasts several mountains with runs for beginner and advanced skiers. You can rely on ebookers to reserve rooms as close as possible to your favourite outdoor activities.

Dining in Nice

No matter how many attractions you see in Nice, you still need to take time out of your busy schedule for meals. One of the best dining spots is La Reserve de Nice, which earned a star rating from Michelin. The restaurant offers views of the city and surrounding area, and it has its own terrace area for those who prefer dining outside. Locals routinely name Restaurant La Zucca Magica as one of the best vegetarian restaurants because it has so many different menu options. The chef uses locally sourced ingredients in his dishes, and he creates the menu every morning based on the freshest produce. If you want an authentic taste of France, head to Cafe Turin. Fresh seafood sits on large ice blocks, and you can order anything on display, including fresh snails. Ebookers makes finding a hotel easy because you can search for hotels in a specific area, or you can look for hotels with on-site restaurants.

For the Culture Lovers

Nice is famous for its cultural activities, and ebookers will help you find accommodation near these great sites. Old Town is one of the oldest spots in the city, and it has several walking tours that take guests on a tour of the area. Chagall lived in Nice, so it isn't surprising that the city has several museums devoted to him. For a look at some of his greatest pieces of surviving artwork, you should visit the Chagall Museum. Opera de Nice is another spot for those interested in the arts because it offers shows throughout the year. You can even take in a matinee performance if you have plans later that night. These sites are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to cultural activities in the city. Whether you want to take in the arts, visit authentic French restaurants, spend some time outside, or even take a day trip to Monte Carlo, you can use ebookers to search for the top Nice hotels.
