Romantic long weekend in Paris

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the end of November 2013 and could have not chosen a better hotel to stay in Paris. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the Superior rooms. The rooms are not huge (as expected in Paris), but they are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. I am a very sensitive sleeper and often have trouble sleeping in hotels (I travel a lot for business), but had no problems in this hotel. What really sets this hotel apart is service. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and happy to help. They even provide a list of local restaurant recommendations. We tried a few of these and were not disappointed. The hotel is located a bit further away from the main tourist attractions, but they are easily reached by metro. If you want to explore the city by foot, it is not impossible from the hotel. We walked to Notre Dame and it was a pleasant walk even though I am seven months pregnant. The neighbourhood around the hotel is also worth exploring and there are a number of really good restaurants and bars available. You definitely get more authentic dining experience here than in the places aimed at tourists. This was my 3rd time in Paris and I much preferred this hotel and location to my previous two stays. We will be staying again in this hotel when we next visit Paris.

a french delight

If you're going to paris then stay here! Its typically french with its homely atmosphere winding staircases and probably the cleanest hotel I've ever been in. Its a bit of french luxury and I'd stay here next time. Great for getting into the city and to the airport. I can't fault this hotel at all

Mit unseren beiden Kindern im Alter von 10 und 11 Jahren haben wir im Grand Hôtel Français tolle Tage verbracht. In den beiden benachbarten Zimmern im 6. Stock haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt - und die guten Betten liessen uns manchmal fast etwas zu viel Zeit in ihnen verbringen. Die Zimmer mögen eher klein geraten sein - aber uns hat das nicht gestört. Für genügend Bewegung ist in Paris ja schnell einmal gesorgt.

Stedentrip

Erg leuk en goed verzorgd hotel. De medewerkers waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd, vers, in voldoende mate en met voldoende variatie. De kamers waren schoon en comfortabel. Een plezier om hier te verblijven.

Gemütliches Stadthotel

Wir waren für einen Kurztrip hier und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sehr gemütlich! Bei Ankunft gab es eine kostenlose Erfischung. Das Hotel ist in einem belebten Viertel (11 Bezirk) mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Essen.Die nächste Metro Station ist ca. 250 m entfernt. Von der Station Nation kommt zu fast allen Highlights, ohne umzusteigen - Das Frühstück ist typisch französisch. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, unser Supreme Doppelzimmer ist von der Größe mit einem deutschen Standard Zimmer zu vergleichen. Das Bett ist vom Feisten. Super war auch die kostenlose Wifi Verbindung.

Très bonne situation

Je suis venu pour un voyage d'affaire et je cherchais un Hôtel sur la ligne du RER A. Il est superbement bien placé direct sur la place Nation. Le seul bémol c'est que la sale de bain n'était pas chauffée.

Chambre nickel mais déçu

Second passage dans cette hôtel. Bonne prestation sans conteste! Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Ma chambre vibrait légèrement au passage du métro ce qui ne m'a pas empêché de dormir. Le wifi bloque le streaming de film. Pour la seconde fois on me demande de payer la taxe de séjour qui est déjà incluse dans le prix payé (cf. détails facture). Le discours est toujours le même à la réception "Pour 1€ Monsieur.." avec ouverture de leur classeur et ensuite, "bon.. c'est bon monsieur".

Belle prestation

Tres belle prestation!! La chambre était petite mais très propre. La SDB était refaite. Attention tout de même: Lors de mon départ, la réception a essayé de me faire payer la taxe de séjour déjà comprise dans la facturation initiale!
