Pleasant family run hotel close to all amenities.

Cons: Perhaps tea/ coffee making facilities in the bedroom.
Comfortable hotel on a small side street near to centre of the old town, near to shops, restaurants, Leaning Tower, and within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the railway station. There is a shuttle train every 12 minutes to the airport. Our room was small but very clean , warm and comfortable. TV, mini bar fridge, extra pillows and blankets provided. Large shower cublicle in the en suite room. There is a bar downstairs where tea, coffee and alcoholic beverages can be purchased. The rooftop terrace has views of the Leaning Tower and you can take drinks up there and sit there in the evening. It was also useful that there was a lift up to the third floor where our room was. Breakfast was very adequate and of good quality with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham, croissants, cake, breads, cereals, fruit juices, tea, coffee etc. The breakfast room is a very pleasant room with a lovely Italian atmosphere and it is spotlessly clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful as polite. One young man in particular helped us several times with bus and train timetables to Lucca and Florence and SAN Gimignano all of which we visited. Nothing was too much trouble. On asking, the hotel provided gluten free cake at breakfast for my friend.
