Luxury bed and breakfast

Pros: Peace, cleanliness, size of rooms, quality of bedding and bathrooms, location and surroundings.
Cons: It is 2017. You have to have wifi in the rooms!
Location: St Emillion is 5 minutes away and loads of wine chateaus to visit in the area.
This is not a hotel. But if you book the suites you get fabulous rooms to live in. Sumptuous bedroom with really comfortable bed, a sitting room and a luxury bathroom. It is a proper bathroom like a 5 star UK hotel rather than the normal terrible French bathrooms in their hotels. Breakfast is served in a room like Downton Abbey and is fine unless you want to put weight on in which case go to the local Macdonalds. The rest of the day and evening you are on your own. Contrary to the advert there is no wifi. They would not give me the password which was a bit annoying but actually it was quite nice being out of signal for once. Basically it is beautiful and peaceful. Not a place for children.
