What to expect:
Beginning 4 September 2024, all new shopping and booking activity will be directed to Expedia. Expedia is where you can find and book your ideal holiday with the same ease and options you are used to with ebookers. After this date, any changes to existing bookings will not earn OneKeyCash™* or BONUS+ rewards.
You will still be able to modify or cancel your reservations and access your ebookers UK Trips page after 4 September.
Once all trips have been completed and serviced, we will shut down access to your ebookers UK account, booking history, the ebookers UK website and app.

You can continue to earn and use BONUS+ rewards and your membership benefits on ebookers UK until 4 September 2024.
On 4 September 2024, we will automatically transfer any remaining BONUS+ rewards over at their full value in OneKeyCash to an existing One Key account if you have one on Expedia, Hotels.com or Vrbo, or into a new One Key account on Expedia if you do not already have one.
In your One Key account, we will place you in the One Key equivalent of your current BONUS+ tier and reset your rewards expiration date to 18 months so you have even more time to use them as OneKeyCash.

What currency will my OneKeyCash be in?
You can earn and redeem your OneKeyCash on bookings made in currencies offered in participating brands and regions, however OneKeyCash will always be tied to the currency associated with your account. If you are an existing One Key member, you will keep the currency associated with your account which is based on the region associated with most of your booking activity over the past 12 months. If you do not have any recent bookings your account currency will be determined by the region you created your account in. If you are new to One Key and do not have an existing account, you will be assigned GBP when your UK ebookers account is transitioned to One Key.
What will happen to my BONUS+ tier and rewards value?
You can use your BONUS+ on the ebookers UK website and app until 4 September 2024, at which point, if you have active rewards in your BONUS+ account, we will automatically transfer your remaining BONUS+ rewards over to Expedia’s One Key rewards programme at their full value. We will reset your rewards expiration dates to 18 months so you have more time to use them as OneKeyCash.
One Key has more tiers than BONUS+, so we will place you in the One Key equivalent of your BONUS+ tier. With One Key, tier status is unlocked through “trip elements.” To determine the One Key equivalent of your BONUS+ tier, we will count either your total room nights booked in 2023 or so far in 2024 (whichever is higher) as your total “trip elements” and place you in the appropriate One Key tier shown below:
Blue - 0 trip elements
Silver - 5 trip elements
Gold - 15 trip elements
Platinum - 30 trip elements
In 2025, your tier will be determined by how many One Key trip elements you earn across Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. Plus, to give you a head start in 2025, we will also count your stayed room nights from the start of 2024 on ebookers and apply that toward your 2025 tier status as well.
With BONUS+ you could only reach the next tier through hotel nights stayed, but with One Key, nearly any trip you complete will help you qualify for the next tier. You will get one trip element for each eligible hotel night, holiday-rental night, flight ticket, car hire and activity over £20 in value. So, for example, if you booked two nights in a holiday home and a three-day car hire, you’d earn 5 trip elements, enough to reach Silver tier status in one trip.
What will happen to my BONUS+ benefits?
All the benefits of the BONUS+ programme, including the airport lounge, travel activity reimbursements, the priority phone line and the Happiness Promise Guarantee, will end on 4 September 2024. Members transitioning to One Key will gain access to a wide range of benefits at each level.

Can I still book on ebookers in the UK?
You can book on ebookers until 4 September 2024. On 4 September 2024, all new shopping and booking activity will be directed to Expedia.
How can I delete my account?
If you are not interested in moving over to Expedia and One Key, you can delete your ebookers account by 4 July 2024. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to your account history — nor will our Customer Service team, which means they won’t be able to help you with past bookings.
