Amsterdam Airport is connected to Amsterdam via rail and road. Trains offer a reliable form of transport and direct trains run to and from Amsterdam every 10 to 15 minutes between 6:00am and 12:30am. The journey takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Buses are an economical form of transport and stop at many hotels as well as central Amsterdam. The journey to central Amsterdam takes around 30 minutes. At the weekends the bus service is less frequent. Taxis are available at the airport. "Just right for a short visit and very close to where had to travel. Extremely helpful staff and communication in English was not a constraint. Adequate menu for breakfast and restaurant. Just 10 minutes from downtown. Kristopher was very helpful and pitched in when our taxi did not turn up!"
