What you can expect

Discover the gems of the Arrábida wine region on this full-day tour that includes 2 vineyard visits with samples of local vintages. This trip also shows you some of Lisbon's top sights, from beautiful national park scenery to engineering masterpieces and idyllic beaches.

Spanning the Tagus River is Vasco da Gama Bridge, which is an impressive 10.5 miles (17 km) long. Admire this structure as you head across it, travelling south of Lisbon. Then head into Arrábida National Park to see rows of vineyards among the verdant hillsides, before arriving at a family-run winery nestled in the countryside. Sample 4 wines produced here and listen as the host describes how the local conditions are ideal for the growing of grapes.

Stand atop the park's highest point; at over 1,600 feet (500 m) the views of the Atlantic Ocean are spectacular. Then take some free time in Sesimbra, where you can choose to absorb the local charm, sunbathe on the beach, or even take a swim. Continue to Azertao for a second wine tasting and resume your education into Arrábida viticulture. A final stop at Christo Rei offers superb views of the city and the 25 de Abril Bridge.
