Pros-good location and atmosphere in hotel (third stay there), rooms cleaned to a very high standard, great selection of snacks offered in Hotel Reception at breakfast and throughout day, rooms regularly stocked each morning with similar snacks Cons-hotel is looking in need of a renovation overall, at check-in, some guests are offered welcome drinks and others are not (we were not), towels and linens only changed every three days unless a guest requests (this is a thinly-disguised attempt for the hotel to reduce its laundry costs, and no discount is given even if a guest agrees to this scheme), a huge verbal bust-up with a taxi driver (at LAX) who took us to the airport. This almost became physical. The cause-me attempting to present a hotel voucher that had been given to me so as to secure a flat rate fare for the journey to the airport. This driver demanded more and would not accept the hotel’s voucher
