The rooms and restaurant are overpriced. Breakfast was poor. Cleaning (rooms and public premises) did not work all the time.

Hotel in good location and nice and modern in main areas. Reception staff are welcoming and professional. Minibar prices are ridiculous €6 for a 50cl of Evian which is 60 cents in the local shop. Gym facilities and changing area, outdoor pool area not great at this time of year, perhaps will be better in warmer weather. Breakfast was a fair selection, omelettes and eggs available on order, make sure you ask for eggs well cooked as they come very underdone. The ‘hot’ items on the buffet needs looking at, they are served in le Creuset dishes but not kept warm, the warming plates were not on any of the three days we were there cold bacon and sausage are not nice! But otherwise an adequate selection of cold items and a nice range of juices and fresh bread and lovely local honey. The staff at breakfast were few and far between and not as customer friendly as could be. Breakfast at weekends is served to 11am and 10am midweek, but they try to get you to move at 10/11 on the dot whilst still eating! If they need to set up for lunch they should serve until an earlier time! The Restaurant Manager initially comes across as unfriendly but is actually a lovely guy once you get to know him.

Well placed hotel

Pros: It is clean and reasonably pleasant.
Cons: Hot drink making items were in short supply. Water in the shower was not hot enough. Armchairs were very uncomfortable.
Location: Right in the heart of the old port a short walk from the metro station. Lots of bars and restaurants very close. Hop on tour bus stops nearby.
The hotel is right on the old port and less than 10 minutes walk from a Metro station, two stops from the main train and bus stations. The standard room was average, a little worn in places. The water in the shower was never more than tepid. The tea and coffee was minimal and when we left a note asking for more tea and milk, it was ignored. The bed was quite comfortable but the two seats were angular and low and not at all comfortable. The room and hotel were clean. We didn't try breakfast as it was 25 Euros per person - we had a fast food breakfast nearby for 4.5 Euros each ! There was a small tax per night on departure which had been advised in advance. The hotel is ok but nothing special.

Fabulous late summer holiday

This hotel is in a great location with lovely views of the harbour and beyond. We had a third floor room front facing and were very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week in mid September on a B & B basis - breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice but a bit chaotic during busy periods. Items were missing from tables and they kept running out of things which were not immediately replaced. Loved the rooftop pool and couldn't believe that more people didn't make use of it. We took a bus ride to Cassis which took us through the mountains with great views of Marseille. Be sure to visit the Notre Dame de la Garde - and go inside! Quite a climb but well worth it - the decoration inside is truly amazing. All in all, a great trip which we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone.

Sehr gut gelegen. Sauber. Allerdings wurde unser Zimmer einmal bei der täglichen Reinigung ausgelassen - für ein 4*-Hotel nicht eine Topleistung. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.

Es entspricht unserem Standard die Zimmer täglich zu reinigen ausser es hängt der "bitte nicht stören" Zettel an der Tür, dann geht uns die Einhaltung der Privatsphäre vor. Es tut uns sehr Leid, wenn bei Ihnen dieser Standard nicht eingehalten wurde. Dass Sie uns aber trotzdem weiterempfehlen würden freut uns wirklich ausserordentlich und würden uns freuen, wenn Sie bei Ihrem nächsten Aufenthalt wieder Radisson Blu buchen.
