Fantastic couple getaway

We finished our holidays in this little paradise. The perfect spot to get lost with your partner. quite, romantic, elegant, good look, clean, good service, nice beach, a lot of sun... and so on We really enjoyed it. Also, thanks to Gabriella for everything !!!

Einfaches Hotel an einem einsamen Strand.

Villa Kiva ist ein schönes Hotel an einem einsamen Strand. Weit weg vom städtischen Troubel. Service, Zimmer und Anlage sehr gut. Der Tauchschulpartner des Hotels (One Ocean) ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert.

Schönes angenehmes Hotel in Strandnähe

Pros: kein Trubel, sondern ruhige Atmosphäre.
Cons: Vielleicht den Seetang am Strand öfter mal entfernen lassen. Ein paar mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer und auch ein kleines Tischchen mit 2 Stühlen
Es hat einfach alles gepasst - schönes Zimmer, gutes Essen, schöne Anlage mit Pools un d sehr, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal!

Ruhiger Traumurlaub

Wunderschönes, kleines Hotel in einer ruhigen Lage, weit abseits der Touristen-Hochburgen. Wer gerne Club-Urlaub mit vielen anderen Touristen und Animationsprogramm erleben möchte, der sollte an die Westküste. Die Villa Kiva an der Ostküste ist eher geeignet für Reisende, die es gerne etwas ruhiger und privater haben möchten. Die Zimmer und Anlage sind sehr sauber. Das Personal genauso wie die Betreiber extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn man gerne einen Ausflug, die Fahrt zum Airport oder sonstige Aktivitäten planen möchte, einfach nachfragen und alles wird für einen organisiert. Wenngleich die Taxi-Kosten vergleichsweise hoch sind. Was man beachten sollte: Die Ostküste Sansibars ist geprägt von den Gezeiten. Ebbe und Flut geben vor, wann man ins Meer kann bzw. mit dem Boot über das Riff hinaus fahren kann. Auch gibt es Seegras und weiter draußen im Meer unzählige Seeigel. Wer sich daran nicht stört, den erwartet ein wunderschöner weißer Sandstrand, glasklares Wasser und eine tolle Unterwasserwelt. Eine Wanderung hinaus zum Riff bei Ebbe ist genauso Pflicht wie das Schnorcheln/Tauchen an der nahe gelegen Mnemba Insel (wir hatten sogar das Glück mit fünf Delfinen schwimmen zu können). Wer sich um seine Sicherheit Gedanken macht, dem kann gesagt sein, dass sowohl das Hotel als auch die Umgebung völlig gefahrenfrei sind. Egal ob ein nächtlicher Spaziergang am Strand oder ein Ausflug ins Dorf. Bedenken muss man hierbei sicherlich nicht haben. Die Menschen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Natürlich sollte man damit rechen, am Strand von dem ein oder anderen Strandverkäufer angesprochen zu werden. Im Vergleich zu anderen Teilen der Insel oder anderen Ländern hält sich dies jedoch sehr in Grenzen. Auf dem Privatstrand des Hotels bleibt man hiervon natürlich gänzlich verschont. Was die Verpflegung anbelangt, so sollte man kein 5-Sterne-Buffet oder ähnliches erwarten. Zum Frühstück gibt es ein übersichtliches Büffet aus super leckerem, frischem Obst, Säften, einigem Gebäck und auf Wunsch frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen. Zum Lunch und Dinner gibt die Speisekarte des Hotels alles her, was das Herz begehrt. Egal ob suahelische oder mediterane Kost. Das Personal erfüllt hierbei sehr hilfsbereit und immer mit einem Lächeln alle Sonderwünsche. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und immer frisch zubereitet. Die Halbpension buchen muss dabei nicht unbedingt sein. Vielmehr kann man täglich entscheiden, ob man gerne das Halfboard-Menü essen möchte oder doch lieber á la carte. Und für ein paar Dollar mehr bekommt man sogar ein Lobster Dinner inkl. privatem Tisch unter Mondschein am Strand ) Alles in allem ein traumhafter Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Land. Das Hotel ist bedenkenlos zu ampfehlen!

Perfekt zum Relaxen

Wir waren 4 Nächte hier und haben die Zeit genutzt um einfach auszuspannen (Bungalow mit Meersicht). Halbpension hat sich sehr gelohnt, das Essen war abwechslungsreich und hat immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Abendessen ist eine große Flasche Wasser inklusive. Auch das Frühstück mit viel frischem Obst und die Kaffee-Zeit mit leckerem Gebäck hat uns gefallen. Beim Frühstück gibt es keine festen Zeiten, so dass auch entspanntes ausschlafen möglich ist. Das zahlreiche Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und für jeden Wunsch ansprechbar (Zwischenmahlzeiten, Getränke, etc...). Alles war stets sauber und gepflegt. Die Liegen sind hinter einer Hecke, was zum einen vor aufdringlichen Beach Boys schützt, aber auch keine direkte Sicht auf das Meer zulässt. Das Wasser ist toll (auch wenn die Gezeiten stören). Bei Ebbe kann man aber direkt vor dem Hotel in einem hüfttiefen (und sauber gehaltenen) "natural pool" baden - sehr relaxt! Andere Hotels sind direkt nebenan - falls man schnorcheln/tauchen möchte. Sonst gibt es hier nicht viel - außer herrlicher Ruhe :-) Gerade da es nicht viele Gäste gibt, ist hier erholsam. Für eine Entdeckungsreise der Insel halte ich das Hotel für wenig geeignet, das hatten wir bereits vorher gemacht (aber auch hier gibt es Taxis).

Relax, you are on vacation!

Wir haben 4 Tage einfach nur ausgespannt. Das Essen war super, frischer Fisch und leckere Früchte. Die Preise für Trinken & Essen sind ok (z.B. Glas Wein 3$, Bier 4$, Pizza 7$, Taxi zum Flughafen 50$). Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und alles war stets sauber und ordentlich. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es einen "natural pool", also einen vom Seegras befreiten Teil, der sogar bei Ebbe zum plantschen einlädt. Wer es braucht, findet keine 50m entfernt das OneOcean Diving Center um zu Schnorcheln/Tauchen. Sonst organisiseren die Beach Boys natürlich gerne alles weitere ;-) Wir würden immer wieder kommen um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Gerade die geringe Gästeanzahl und die gemühtliche Stimmung erlauben es prima abzuschalten.
