Amazing location, right in the heart of the old town and a few steps from the riverfront. Room was very clean and the service was good. Only criticism would be the glass door on the toilet which is directly off the bedroom- no privacy at all.

Excellent position for exploring Porto.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: Confusing light switches.
Location: Easy access to River Douro waterfront, restaurants and nightlife.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located within easy walking distance of the river front and many restaurants and has easy access to sightseeing buses.

The House Ribeira Porto Hotel

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Central location. Walking distance to most interesting places to visit. A trip to the coast on the old-style tram is highly recommended.
Very friendly and helpful staff who are always keen to go the extra mine. The free use of a smartfone was a massive benefit, with links to recommended restaurants and places to visit, apps for navigating etc. and the staff don't mind being called during the day for help or advice.

Dream Hotel in Porto close to Douro river

Location: Great location. The closest metro station is Sai Bento
We were very fortunate for choosing this hotel. We found everything was perfect, excellent. Staff was very friendly and gave us all the tips about the city for our needs and made us so comfortable and homely. The breakfast was superb and well organised. Room was very clean and water pressure was very good to have a comfortable shower. But view from the room was disappointing. We are from London and this was our first visit to Porto, Portugal. We found that the hotel was situated in a great location, within a short distance from all the attractions in the Porto city. Since we could tick all the boxes if we get a another opportunity to visit Porto we certainly stay at this hotel.
