Excellent first stop to recover from a long flight and get that first feel for Sri Lanka and good to prepare for the return home. Great pool.

Staff were excellent and perfectly placed for the airport so the occasional aircraft passing overhead is inevitable. Would recommend phoning them for transfer bus once you have cleared immigration!

Lovely people, always attentive, friendly and responsive. Great pool and peaceful country surroundings.Worth more than an overnight stop.

A hotel to feel well At the end of my travellings I booked at Oreeka Hotel again. Reasons: 1. very satisfied with my first stay on my arrival in Sri Lanke – 2. Very nice atmosphere to relax before flight back home – 3. Very reliable and free airport transfer, two times – 4. I liked the „Sri Lanka Special Rice and Curry“ very much. 5. Further more: Very timely and friendly e-mail traffic - free, punctual pick up at the airport - very nice facility in the countryside, close to the airport, but further away to the beach; very nice swimming pool - very fast check in with very friendly behavior - room: spacious room with a pleasant atmosphere; balcony, comfortable bed, room safe, kettle for making tea or coffee - bathroom: modern and spacious, weak jet of water on the shower - very good breakfast buffet - very, very friendly and attentive staff - dinner in the hotel restaurant delicious, plentiful and price was ok - security staff around the clock provides safe feeling - ideal for relaxing before or after a flight; of course, also for a longer stay, even with children.

Sehr zeitnaher und freundlicher E-Mail-Verkehr – kostenlose, pünktliche Abholung am Flughafen – sehr schöne Anlage im Grünen, nahe zum Flughafen, aber weiter entfernt zum Strand; dafür sehr schöner Swimmingpool – sehr schneller Check in bei sehr freundlichem Benehmen – Zimmer: geräumiges Zimmer mit angenehmer Atmosphäre; Balkon, bequemes Bett, Zimmersafe, Wasserkocher für Tee- oder Kaffeezubereitung – Bad: modern gestaltet und geräumig, schwacher Wasserstrahl an der Dusche – sehr gutes, leckeres Frühstück als Buffet – , sehr, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal – Abendessen im Hotel-Restaurant schmackhaft, reichlich und preislich ok – Wachdienst rund um die Uhr vermittelt Sicherheit – Ideal zum Ausspannen vor oder nach einem Flug, natürlich auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt, auch mit Kindern, gut geeignet.

Good experience for the price. The pool and the yard was taken care of well and the room was tidy as well. The location was not as good as I thought since there were not for example supermarkets near. Overall good hotel for 1 to 2 nights stay relatively near the airport.
