Sehr schönes Kolonial-Hotel

Pros: Die wunderbare Atmosphäre sowie der exzellente Staff. Selbst unmögliches wurde im Handumdrehen erledigt.
Location: Zentrale Lage, Mitten im Kolonialviertel
Top Hotel im Herzen von Yangon. Erstklassiger und kompetenter Service, sehr tolle Ausstattung, koloniales Flair. Empfehlenswerte Restaurants. Für Geschäftsleute wie auch Touristen bestens geeignet. Einziger Nachteil: kein Gym&Pool.

Enttäuscht.

Irgendwie funktioniert das Zusammenspiel zwischen Management und Personal nicht: mussten bereits beim Einchecken - obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren - warten und immer redet sich der eine auf den anderen aus. Das Zimmer war groß und schön eingerichtet. Allerdings ist das Badezimmer etwas klein geraten und jeder Schritt des Gastes im darüberliegendem Zimmer war zu hören. Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im Strand. Das Hotel ist sehr klein und bietet kaum genug Platz für die wenigen Gäste und vielen Touristen, die die Lobby und das Cafe vollfüllen. Noch bietet das Strand Annehmlichkeiten: es hat keinen Garten oder Innenhof, kein Schwimmbad, keinen Fitnessraum noch Räumlichkeiten zum Entspannen. Die Lage ist gleich neben der sehr stark befahrenen Strand Road. Hinter dem Hotel befindet sich eine kleine Müllhalde. Würde das Hotel für einen zwei- oder dreitägigen Städtebesuch aufgrund der mangelnden Facilities und des sehr hohen Preises nicht weiter empfehlen.
