Amsterdam Airport is connected to Amsterdam via rail and road. Trains offer a reliable form of transport and direct trains run to and from Amsterdam every 10 to 15 minutes between 6:00am and 12:30am. The journey takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Buses are an economical form of transport and stop at many hotels as well as central Amsterdam. The journey to central Amsterdam takes around 30 minutes. At the weekends the bus service is less frequent. Taxis are available at the airport. Although convenient, especially if travelling with a lot of luggage this is the most expensive option and at peak times traffic can be heavy.

"This was a fun hotel to stay in. Staff is very friendly. Check-in was a breeze, we walked in, told them our name and they walked us to our room (didn't even have to show ID). Be sure to bring cash. "We booked two nights at this hotel. We contacted the owner on whats app to let them know about our stay. We got in reply that they were not in the island at the moment, they were in vacation... so we couldn't able to stay at their place. We had to booked somewhere else, since then we haven't got ..."

"Nice historical building... Restaurant pricey compared with other local establishments. The room I booked on Expedia was already given away when I arrived. Had to split into two rooms which was ideal with kids but worked out. Pool area was nice and very clean. Kids enjoyed."

"The ocean view and the sound of the waves from casa do sol made it a very relaxing stay. All staff members were very helpful and polite. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the standing shower in the bathroom. It looks a bit old and rusty."
