Stunning experience

Pros: The cleanliness and the decor....wasn't too opulent that it is in your face.
Cons: Maybe vary the food choices available in restaurants so that aren't eating same or similar food for lunch and dinner if stay in the hotel.
Location: Didn't do much sight seeing ....but traffic did make taxi journeys quite long
Had only few days in Delhi. The staff were so helpful in answering my questions about shopping etc. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble for them!!

Outstanding Hotel - Amazing Staff

I booked the Leela as I wanted to to celebrate my 50th birthday in India (I was born there) and I had heard it was the best in Delhi. The hotel looked luxurious. It was. The roof top bar was particularly fab and the location of the hotel, in the heart of the diplomatic enclave, is ideal. It's a lovely green area. Very central. We hired the hotel's car and they arranged a guide for us. All very reasonable prices. I treated myself to a number of spa appointments. Again very reasonable. The spa (an Espa one) itself is new and luxurious. Completely relaxing. The food in all the restaurants was wonderful and the curry in Jamniva was - as you would expect - outstanding. I celebrated my birthday there. It is in a lovely modern design and the lady who served us was fab. The breakfast choices in the Cube were extensive (with chefs) and you could sit outside in the lovely grounds. We chose to stay on the club level which was great - good food and free drink in the evening. Free transfers. Whilst everything was top notch - and I really have stayed in some outstanding hotels - it was the staff who really made the difference. Always on hand. Always attentive. Wonderful. For luxury and outstanding service at reasonable prices, I can't recommend this hotel enough. I had a memorable birthday. Many thanks.
