The best thing about staying at Shipquay hotel was the welcome and quality of service, which never fell below the best standard of friendliness, helpfulness and courtesy. It is perfectly situated in the centre of the walled city - we were attending the choir festival and it is less than 5 minutes walk from the Millenium Forum and the Guildhall. For shopping, the Richmond and Foyleside shopping centres are also less than 5 minutes walk. There is parking available on the street, but concessionary parking at Foyleside car park meant that we could just park and leave the car for 4 days without a worry. Breakfast was also excellent (sufficient for the whole day!).

The staff on reception were amazing and extremely helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. A good nights stay and you couldn't beat the location. Breakfast was great and fantastic selection on offer.

Loved this hotel! Staff all round were lovely and very friendly! Glass of prosecco on arrival and little sweet treats in the room, a lovely touch! Have to mention the breakfast. Continental was buffet style with the hot breakfast ordered from a menu. Without doubt one of the best fry-ups have had in a hotel from presentation to quality of produce - all served by lovely friendly staff - just fab!
