Beautiful hotel and excellent staff. We arrived at the hotel the night before Spain went into lockdown. The Reception staff were extremely helpful and informative. We had to cut our stay short by two days in order to get a flight home while we could but we will return some day in better circumstances as we didn’t get a chance to see anything or go anywhere on this trip.

It's nice, but not grand. We spent three nights in Jan, therefore the weather was in the teens. Entry level room, is small and didn't feel cosy. Staff acted overly helpful, but were just slow - at reception, and in the tea room. Hotel seemed empty, there were hardly any people around and still the reception were not willing to give me a late check-out at 1pm. Entrance is lovely, bu the hotel was so empty and quiet that there was no atmosphere. Location is good for beach, but 20min walk to the centre of town - I would probably would stay a the AC Marriott Palacio next time. Spa - was average, over priced to be honest and just ok. Maybe the more expensive rooms and in the summer would be a better experience, but those rooms are 350/400+ euros per night, expensive for Malaga - it's not Miama or Central London by any stretch! 3.75 out of 5 for me. I would stay again, perhaps in the summer in a better room, if the hotel was heavily discounted.

The hotel is stunning, the pool facilities are great, and the service is absolutely amazing. This has to be the best place to stay in Malaga.

Expensive treat for one night

Pros: everything
Cons: all extras were so expensive, we ate and drank out (not that that was a problem)
Location: beach on the doorstep, harbour 5 minutes walk, lots of bars and restaurants nearby
The hotel is first class. Simple as that. The most comfortable room I have stayed in, lovely pool. They have thought of everything to make the room enjoyable.

We were very disappointed, as the pool was empty and NOT in use and we were not granted any compensation. We were also misslead with info on this! Also, the room wihout bathroom door is noicy!
