Pretty nice hotel right next to Central Station and in the main CBD. Special mention to the mattress: firm and comfy. And the other beat thing you will get at the Ibis is their personel: professional, helpful and really nice todeal with them (Amanda was really kind). The situation is pretty good: you can get to the main spots just walking or taking the public transportación (trams or trains). I've got a corner room facing the street and the CBD and it's was blogger than the rest. TV channel selection was limited. Also wifi coverage being in a corner was pretty bad. If you need surfing verter go the entrance hall, you will get better wifi. Also noting they experience some problems with hot water and sometimes could be difficult to have it for shower. Room includes a kettle so you can fix yourself a coffee or tea. I had the buffet breakfast just one day and it's quite expensive ($20) for what you get. Some Hot good: scrambled eggs, beans and bacon, some croissants and sweets, coffee, orange or apple juice and two types or fruit. The other days I just went somewhere else. Close to the hotel there are some supermarkets: Aldi, Metro and even a big Woolworths just next to the state library in front of Central, in the lower level.

Great staff shame about the cleanliness

The hotel staff are great and very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very dirty, dust everywhere. Also the rooms are very small not really suitable for 2 friends to use.

Brilliant location and great experience

I stayed for 4 nights and had a brilliant stay. The room was clean and spacious, and facilities were everything I needed. Location is perfect right by the tram stop and on the Main Street, I walked everywhere with no issues. Staff were very friendly too, I would definitely stay again in Melbourne!

Ibis Melbourne

Well placed but room very small for two people with no real clothes storage space. Four hangers attached to wall no draws. No bar overall very poor in comparison to a typical Ibis.

Pros: Siisteys, rauhallisuus, tavoitettavuus.
