Pidin kovasti paikan rauhallisuudesta ja siisteydestä. Meren ranta oli lähellä, ja oli kiva kävellä iltaisin rannalla. Ranta oli kivinen, mutta todella kaunis näköala. Lähellä lentokenttää sekä lähellä Kamarin keskustaa, jossa paljon ravintoloita.

A very cosy hotel on the quiet side of the island

Location: There´s an excellent local restaurant (tavern Galini) and a mini market close by, and regular connections to Kamari and Fira by bus.
I stayed at Blue Bay Villas for a week with a friend and we really enjoyed it. It is a nice, small hotel with a big pool close to the sea! The staff is very friendly and the whole atmosphere is very home-like. At least in September the pool area was often empty so it felt like a quiet getaway from all the tourist-filled streets of Fira and Oia. The hotel is, however, located close to the airport so you can hear the landings and take-offs. That did not bother us though. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the sun and appreciates the less-crowded side of the island. The rooms are quite small and there´s no kids´ pool so I don´t think the hotel is an ideal choice for families.
