"We arrrived and checked to see when our room would be ready (we were early) we were able to get a short hike in, still many roads closed because of winter travel. Shopping, visitor center walkable from the lodge, dining room food was decent you order at the desk and it comes out kinda of carry out style to your table. Lodge is rustic and what I would expect at a national park. Most visitors hung in the lobby around the fireplace and played games in the evening because to get other places is probably a 45 minute drive. The road is windy and at times foggy so getting places quickly is not an option. "
