It's possible to find these sorts of stays loaded with self-catering kitchens and cosy lounge spaces, picturesque patios, BBQ equipment and big gardens. It's also common to see holiday cabins being part of a complex of other similar accommodation, meaning you could find somewhere with communal facilities like playgrounds, games rooms and the like.

The double bed in the room was not a true double bed – it was more like a single-and-a-half.
