Fantastic location with friendly staff team. Allocated an excellent room on the 3rd floor with lovely balcony. Coffee station at breakfast could perhaps ve located away from main breakfast buffet to reduce congestion during current covid sicial distancing

Nice relaxing break

Nice hotel in a good location. Town centre is a good 45mins away but its a nice walk, or just catch the bus outside the hotel. Plenty of places to eat nearby but better value in town centre. Good selection at breakfast but can get a bit busy. Hotel clean and tidy and staff very helpful and friendly. Nice outdoor pool which was a bit chilly in March but ok once in, also has a nice heated indoor pool. Good size room and balcony, tea and coffee facilities would have been nice. It is part of a larger time share / guest club and some of the local offers are also part of this. All of the nearby huts promoting cheap island tours are also time share, book them nearer town for the same price without the time share. Many of the people in the hotel were part of the timeshare club and all seemed happy with it. If I went back to Madeira I would stay here again.

Romantic trip away

Having read previous reviews and viewed photos of the hotel, we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed. Loved the pool area and gardens especially. Found it a good base for sightseeing with a bus stop right outside the hotel. Liked walking along the lido promenade in the evening to visit good restaurants close by. Found reception staff very helpful in dealing with any queries we had. Overall a good holiday stay at this hotel.

Third Time Lucky?

The Staff are the hotel's strongest asset they are wonderful.They sent complimentary food and drink on finding out it was our third( there are four of us) visit, lovely surprise. The weather was unusually poor this time but it was still warm enough to go around without jackets. We did not dine at the hotel because we could eat just as well for less money in a number of good restaurants nearby. The quality of food in the restaurant is good. We had breakfast every morning, and there is a lot of choice - critique we would love to have filter coffee however and what do they do to the scrambled eggs? They taste awful! To summarise however, would we go back again ? Absolutely. The Staff deal super-efficiently with any request we would definitely recommend staying at this hotel

Gut: hotel Lage, Saunerkeit, Einrichtung Nicht gut: kein Roomservice, kein Minibar replenishment, laute Musik um 7 AM vom speakers Ausserhalb Lift Zone.
