modern design, very comfortable bed and friendly staff made this a pleasant experience.. Very good buffet choice only spoiled by some 'hot' dishes being fairly cool. Similarly very good bedroom facilities slightly let down by tricky shower temperature control, a safe only accessible by standing on a chair, and a lack of drawers. Overall very good and I would stay there again happily, but it could so easily be excellent

Loved the rooms loved the bathroom. Clean and up to date . Did not like the reception lady . Insisted on a €50 holding fee and when i gave my credit card to pay it she INSISTED that i show her face identification to "prove the card was mine" . Never heard of this in a hotel before i was embarrassed

A bit of confusion at check in regards to length of stay and payment method. Room was smaller than what I’ve usually experienced. The bed was on top of the writing desk with little room to pass around it to get to the other side. However, the room was clean. The rooms are not sound proofed for the noise from the streets outside so be sure to have ear plugs if staying at the weekends to block out the revellers sings songs. The check out experience was was quick and professsinal when I departed early morning. Over all the hotel is very centrally located which is the appealing side. It used to have quite the top class reputation but sadly it has lost that edge since the change in hands and isn’t worth the money anymore. Overall the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean but not worth the prices they charge.

A Special 21st gift for my son!

I selected The Morgan for its style and location, after trawling through many reviews. Travelling with my son, his girlfriend and my partner the location was paramount! A cool, busy hotel with a modern, boutique charm in a desirable position. This would have been a 5 star rating, however, the hotel let me down with their attention to detail. After many phone calls and emails, I had pre-arranged for a bottle of bubbles to be placed in my son's room on arrival, even down to emailing our arrival time and debit card number!! Soooo disappointing! It's these little things that make a hotel exceptional rather than just very good......

Good location

Cons: Fix the air conditioning.
Air conditioning didn't work, so wasn't able to sleep, as room was too warm.

Great location and superb staff

We arrived really early on a saturday morning and after a chat with Gosha the amazing receptionist we were able to mae the most of the city. The hotel is lovely.... lots of quirky design features and I would recommend it to anyone for a weekend break
