Excellent 5 days break

Apart from the location, a bit far from town centre. Everything else is excellent from service to cleanliness of the room. I would recommend this hotel to friends any time.

Lovely short break

Front of house staff were superb and the family room was spacious with 2 double beds. Although outside the city centre, there were free shuttle buses but it was an easy 15 minute walk into town or 5 minutes to catch regular buses. The only areas for improvement would be restaurant prices - far too expensive for a family to eat breakfast there!- and housekeeping. Our hospitality tray was not set up for 4 people on any of the 3 nights we stayed on leaving, we had the obligatory check under the bed....and found someone else's dirty sock! and it was impossible to lower the room temperature to a comfortable overnight setting so a good night's sleep was impossible if, like us, you need a cool room.

Fantastic hotel

We didn't know what to expect, but were blown away. Walking into the reception area we knew we had hit gold! It has a very modern glamorous feel. We paid for breakfast vouchers which were about £6 per head per day. They were worth every penny as breakfast was amazing! All you could want for! Lovely helpful staff. My onlysmall gripe is the distance into the centre. It is about a 20 min walk which is fine, but when you traipse around the sights all day and then face walking home, suddenly it seems a long way! We mixed some walking and some taxis - if you fill a taxi up like we did (family of 4) it's a similar price to the bus. If you catch a taxi, catch it on the right side of the river! - keeps the cost down! If I had to chose location over the hotel - hotel wins!!!!

Great family trip

Only thing that annoyed me was the beds moved away from wall when you were sleeping and could of had a few more pillows in the room

Lovely 2 night stay

Our first time staying in Dublin and we found this hotel online. Looked lovely and in an ideal location between the airport and Dublin centre. We didn't want to stay right in the centre so this hotel was perfect. Approximately 20/25 minutes to walk to Dublin centre. Lots of hop on hop off bus services stop right by the hotel too. The hotel itself was very nice, modern, clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was very nice too. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hotel with really friendly, helpful staff.

We couldn't have asked for more from the Croke Park Hotel. We arrived a good 4 hours before check in time, hoping to leave our bags somewhere safe whilst we went exploring. We were pleasantly surprised when told by the very friendly and helpful receptionist that our room was ready for us. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was huge and the bathroom included a full sized tub and nice powerful shower. An iron, hairdryer and trouser press were all included. It's about a 20-30 minute walk into the centre of Dublin, or you can walk around 10 minutes to Mountjoy Square and take the bus. We would recommend that anyone planning on using buses to get around buys a freedom pass, as it includes the shuttle to and from the airport and unlimited travel on all buses. You can also include the green hop on/hop off tour bus and it represents excellent value.
